Job Title: Material Management Executive
Department: Operations / Supply Chain
Job Summary
The Material Management Executive will be responsible for planning, procurement coordination, inventory control, material dispatch, and tracking of solar project materials to ensure timely execution of rooftop and ground-mounted solar projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage inventory of solar materials including modules, inverters, structures, cables, earthing materials, and BOS components.
- Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, vendors, and project teams for timely material availability.
- Monitor material requirements based on project schedules and installation plans.
- Prepare Material Requisition Notes (MRN), Goods Receipt Notes (GRN), and stock reports.
- Track inward and outward movement of materials across warehouses and project sites.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in ERP/Excel systems.
- Ensure proper storage, handling, and safety of solar equipment.
- Conduct periodic stock audits and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
- Coordinate logistics and transportation for site deliveries.
- Follow up with vendors for pending deliveries and resolve supply-related issues.
- Generate MIS reports on inventory status, material consumption, and procurement planning.
- Ensure minimum material wastage and optimize inventory levels.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of inventory management and warehouse operations.
- Understanding of solar components and project materials.
- Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Inventory Tracking).
- ERP/SAP experience preferred.
- Strong coordination and communication skills.
- Good analytical and organizational abilities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, or related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in material management, inventory control, or solar industry operations.
- Experience in solar EPC projects will be preferred.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
