Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Copy Editor with at least 2+ years of professional experience to join our team in Coimbatore.
The ideal candidate will review, edit, and refine written content to ensure clarity, accuracy, consistency, and adherence to editorial standards across digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit and proofread content for grammar, spelling, punctuation, tone, and clarity
- Maintain consistency in style, formatting, and brand voice
- Fact-check content to ensure accuracy and credibility
- Collaborate with writers, designers, and marketing teams to enhance content quality
- Deliver high-quality edited content within deadlines
Required Skills & Competencies
- Excellent written English and grammar skills
- Proven experience in copy editing, proofreading, or content editing
- Familiarity with digital content formats and editorial guidelines
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or related field
- Experience in EdTech, publishing, or media industries
- Familiarity with Content Management Systems (CMS)
- Knowledge of style guides such as AP, Chicago, or in-house standards
