About the Company
We are setting up a modern manufacturing facility for FIBC, Block Bottom Bags, and Technical Textile products in Surat. We are looking for an experienced EDP / ERP & IT Incharge to support our digital transformation initiatives, ERP implementation, MIS reporting, and IT infrastructure management.
The ideal candidate should be hands-on, process-oriented, and capable of working closely with plant operations, management, ERP vendors, and IT service providers to build a structured, data-driven manufacturing environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesERP & Software Management
- Support ERP implementation and day-to-day operations across Production, Stores, Purchase, Sales, Dispatch, Quality, Accounts, and Administration departments.
- Coordinate with ERP/software vendors for implementation, testing, customization, troubleshooting, and user support.
- Maintain master data including item masters, customer/vendor masters, BOMs, machine details, process parameters, and user access controls.
- Monitor ERP data accuracy and ensure timely system updates.
MIS & Reporting
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports for management review.
- Develop reports and dashboards related to:
- Production Performance
- Inventory & Stock Management
- Dispatch Monitoring
- Machine Utilization
- Wastage Analysis
- Order Tracking
- Operational Efficiency
- Identify data discrepancies and ensure data integrity across departments.
Data Management & User Support
- Supervise and train Data Entry Operators (DEOs) to ensure accurate and timely data entry.
- Monitor production, inventory, quality, and dispatch transactions for completeness and accuracy.
- Provide ERP and system support to plant users and department heads.
- Conduct user training and promote system adoption across the organization.
IT Infrastructure Management
- Manage and maintain:
- Computers & Laptops
- Printers & Scanners
- Networking & Internet Connectivity
- CCTV Systems
- Barcode & Inventory Tracking Systems
- Basic IT Security & Data Backup
- Coordinate with hardware, networking, software, and CCTV vendors for support and maintenance.
- Maintain IT asset registers and system documentation.
Process Improvement
- Drive digitization initiatives to reduce manual processes and paperwork.
- Improve data visibility and reporting through structured workflows.
- Support continuous improvement projects related to ERP, reporting, and operational efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Applications (BCA), Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3–8 years of experience in:
- EDP Operations
- ERP Support
- MIS Reporting
- IT Administration
- Manufacturing Software Management
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
Preferred Industry Experience
Candidates with experience in the following industries will be given preference:
