Position Overview:
The VP – Strategic Alliances (India) will lead the development and execution of strategic partnerships
across key verticals that drive incremental revenue for MSM Unify with minimal operational overhead.
This leadership role focuses on identifying, negotiating, and managing “bolt-on” partnerships that
enhance the MSM Unify ecosystem through revenue-sharing and commission-based models.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive partnership strategy focused on scalable, low-touch,
high-margin alliances.
- Identify and evaluate new business opportunities that align with MSM Unify’s growth objectives.
- Negotiate partnership terms, commission structures, and revenue-sharing agreements.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with third-party partners to ensure long-term engagement
and mutual growth.
- Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, product, operations, finance) to integrate and
promote partner offerings seamlessly.
- Monitor and report on partnership performance metrics, ensuring targets for partnership
revenue, margin per transaction, and ecosystem expansion are met or exceeded.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and competitor activities to identify new areas for collaboration.
Key Focus Areas:
- Student Accommodation Partnerships: Forge alliances with student housing providers to
offer integrated accommodation solutions.
- Education Loans & Financial Services: Partner with banks, NBFCs, and fintechs to provide
student loan and financial support services.
- Test Preparation & Vouchers: Collaborate with test prep organizations (IELTS, TOEFL, GRE,
etc.) for value-added services.
- Student Insurance: Develop tie-ups with insurance providers for health, travel, and life
insurance plans tailored for students.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- 12+ years of experience in strategic partnerships, alliances, or business development roles—
preferably in edtech, fintech, or allied services.
- Proven track record of developing and managing revenue-generating partnerships.
- Strong negotiation, stakeholder management, and commercial acumen.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to think strategically while executing tactically in a fast-paced, growth-oriented
environment.
