Job Description:
Desi Tea Time Limited is looking for a Finance & Accounts Manager with strong experience in Indian Accounting Standards, MCA compliance, and statutory norms to manage the day-to-day accounting functions and ensure full financial and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the accounts team and ensuring financial discipline across multiple branches and franchise operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle day-to-day accounting operations, including journal entries, ledgers, reconciliations, and documentation.
- Maintain books of accounts in compliance with Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS) and applicable laws.
- Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9), TDS returns, and handle input tax credit reconciliation.
- Ensure timely compliance with MCA, ROC filings, and support statutory audits.
- Monitor and manage accounts payable/receivable, vendor and customer ledgers, and credit control.
- Oversee bank reconciliations (BRS), payment processing, and online banking entries.
- Prepare and review Trial Balance, General Ledger, and assist in monthly/year-end closing.
- Handle PF, ESI, PT, and other statutory payroll compliances in coordination with HR.
- Maintain accuracy in ERP entries (Tally / SAP / Zoho / any relevant accounting software).
- Supervise and review the work of junior accountants and ensure timely financial reporting.
- Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and government authorities when required.
- Submit MIS reports, cash flow statements, and management dashboards to CFO regularly.
Key Requirements:
- Educational Qualification:
- B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) / CA-Inter / CMA-Inter / Semi-qualified CA or equivalent
- Experience:
Minimum 5–8 years of experience in core accounting, compliance, and taxation
- Knowledge Areas:
- Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS)
- MCA, ROC Filings & Company Law basics knowledge
- GST, TDS, PT, PF, ESI
- Finalization of Accounts
- Reconciliations and Audits
- MIS Reporting and Budgeting
Software Skills:
Tally ERP 9 / Tally Prime, MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot, etc.), familiarity with accounting ERPs
Other Skills:
- Strong understanding of financial compliance
- Analytical thinking and accuracy in numbers
- Leadership and team coordination ability
- Good communication and reporting skills
