looking for a passionate and dedicated Bharatanatyam Teacher to conduct classes at our school, service apartments, and Perumbakkam location and online.
Location:
Perumbakkam & Nearby Areas (Chennai)
Class Mode:
- Offline (School & Service Apartments)
- Flexible batch timings (Weekdays/Weekends)
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct Bharatanatyam classes for kids and beginners/intermediate students
- Teach basic to advanced adavus, mudras, and expressions (Abhinaya)
- Prepare students for stage performances and cultural programs
- Train students for certification exams (if applicable)
- Maintain attendance records and share updates after each class
- Ensure discipline and engagement during sessions
- Support students in practice and improvement
- Coordinate with management for events, competitions, and performances
- Travel to different locations (school / apartments) for classes
- Maintain a professional and friendly teaching approach
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of Bharatanatyam
- Prior teaching experience preferred
- Good communication skills with kids and parents
- Passion for teaching and performing arts
- Willingness to travel locally
