Detailed Key Responsibilities Content Creation & Curation
- Brainstorm Concepts: Participate in weekly creative brainstorming sessions to pitch fresh ideas for Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
- Copywriting: Write catchy captions, video hooks, and text overlays tailored to the specific "voice" of each social platform.
- Visual Assistance: Use basic design tools to assist in creating daily stories, simple graphics, or gathering assets for the design team.
Platform Management & Scheduling
- Content Calendar: Assist in maintaining, updating, and organizing the monthly social media content calendar.
- Publishing: Schedule and publish approved posts using social media management software, ensuring proper formatting, hashtags, and links.
- Trend Tracking: Actively "trend-jack" by identifying viral audios, memes, and platform updates that our brand can leverage immediately.
Community Engagement
- Audience Interaction: Monitor comment sections and direct messages across platforms to respond to followers in a timely, friendly, and helpful manner.
- Community Building: Engage with relevant industry accounts, influencers, and user-generated content to increase our digital footprint.
Analytics & Reporting
- Performance Tracking: Help gather weekly metrics (likes, shares, reach, follower growth) and input them into performance spreadsheets.
- Insight Learning: Work with senior marketers to understand why certain posts succeeded or failed, helping adjust future strategies.
Preferred Tools & SkillsWhile we will train you on our specific workflows, familiarity with any of the following is a major plus:
- Social Platforms: Deep personal or professional familiarity with Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube Shorts.
- Design/Video: Basic skills in Canva, CapCut, or mobile editing suites to quickly spin up drafts or stories.
- Management Tools: Exposure to tools like Meta Business Suite, Buffer, Notion, or Google Workspace (Docs/Sheets).
Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: 0 to 1 year of experience. A personal social media account (or student project) that showcases your creativity or writing style is highly valued!
- Education: Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Media, or a related field (Open to self-taught applicants with great portfolios).
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills with a sharp eye for spelling and grammar.
