Job Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Web Author to create, edit, manage, and publish high-quality digital content across web platforms. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Content Management Systems (CMS), preferably Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), along with a strong understanding of SEO, accessibility standards, and web content best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, edit, format, and publish web content using CMS platforms.
- Structure and maintain web pages using templates, components, and layout guidelines.
- Ensure content accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand tone and style guidelines.
- Optimize web content for SEO, accessibility (WCAG), and performance best practices.
- Manage and maintain digital assets, including images, videos, and documents.
- Perform content updates, quality checks, and regression testing before publishing.
- Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility.
- Collaborate with designers, UX/UI teams, developers, and other stakeholders to enhance user experience.
- Follow established content governance, publishing workflows, approval processes, and version-control practices.
- Monitor and troubleshoot content-related issues and coordinate with technical teams for resolution.
- Maintain content documentation and ensure proper version management.
- Manage multiple tasks effectively while meeting project timelines and deadlines.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 4–8 years of experience in web content authoring or digital content management.
- Hands-on experience with CMS platforms such as:
- Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)
- WordPress
- Sitecore
- Drupal
- Experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) or a similar enterprise CMS is preferred.
- Basic understanding of HTML and CSS.
- Good knowledge of SEO principles and WCAG accessibility standards.
- Familiarity with Google Analytics or similar web analytics tools.
- Understanding of UX/UI principles and web usability.
- Basic image editing skills using Adobe Photoshop or similar tools.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with enterprise-level CMS environments.
- Knowledge of digital asset management and publishing workflows.
- Understanding of web performance optimization and responsive design principles.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and UX professionals.
