Software Tester – Manual & Automation Testing

Key Responsibilities
- Perform thorough manual and automation testing of web, mobile, and desktop applications.
- Develop, document, and maintain test cases, test scenarios, test scripts, and automation scripts based on business requirements and user stories.
- Execute functional, regression, integration, system, UI, usability, and exploratory testing.
- Design and execute automated test scripts using relevant automation testing tools/frameworks.
- Identify, document, and track defects using bug-tracking tools such as Jira, Bugzilla, or similar platforms.
- Perform regression testing to ensure new changes do not impact existing application functionality.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA team members to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Participate in test planning, test analysis, test case design, and execution activities.
- Maintain automation test scripts and contribute to improving the overall test automation framework and coverage.
- Prepare detailed test reports, defect reports, and testing metrics.
- Ensure testing activities are completed within defined project timelines and milestones.
- Identify opportunities to improve testing processes, quality, and automation coverage.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum 1.5 years of hands-on experience in Manual + Automation Testing.
- Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC.
- Good knowledge of writing and executing test plans, test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts.
- Hands-on experience with at least one automation testing tool/framework such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, or similar.
- Experience with bug-tracking tools such as Jira, Bugzilla, or similar.
- Strong understanding of functional, integration, regression, system, and UI testing.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and database queries is an added advantage.
- Understanding of testing across different platforms including Windows, macOS, Android, and iOS.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Skills
- Hands-on experience in Selenium / Cypress / Playwright / Appium or any relevant automation framework.
- Knowledge of programming/scripting languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, or similar.
- Exposure to API testing using tools such as Postman or similar.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Exposure to performance testing tools is an added advantage.
- Experience in developing and maintaining automation test suites/frameworks will be preferred.
Candidate Preference
- Candidates with practical experience in both Manual and Automation Testing will be preferred.
- Immediate Joiners are strongly preferred.
- Candidates who can join within a short notice period may also be considered.
- Day Shift only.
- Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving quality issues.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
