About the Role
Saroj Jalan is looking for a diligent and detail-oriented Sampling & Production Executive who will be responsible for coordinating and executing the sampling and production of garments across both menswear and womenswear.
The candidate will work closely with the Design Team and sampling/production units to translate designs into well-constructed, production-ready garments while ensuring accuracy, quality, timelines, and client requirements are met.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the complete sampling process from design concept to final approved sample.
- Work closely with the Design Team to understand sketches, concepts, silhouettes, construction details, and design requirements.
- Interpret designs and provide clear instructions to the sampling unit regarding garment construction, finishing, measurements, and detailing.
- Coordinate with tailors, pattern makers, embroiderers, fabric vendors, and other production teams as required.
- Supervise the development of samples for both menswear and womenswear.
- Monitor the production of approved designs and ensure garments are manufactured according to the approved sample and specifications.
- Identify and follow relevant fashion trends, silhouettes, colours, fabrics, techniques, and garment details.
- Possess strong knowledge of fabrics, fabric behaviour, trims, garment construction, and colour coordination/matching.
- Review samples critically and identify areas requiring correction or improvement.
- Ensure proper communication of alterations and corrections to the sampling and production teams.
- Maintain accuracy in measurements, specifications, finishing, and overall garment quality.
- Handle client orders diligently, ensuring that requirements, specifications, timelines, and quality standards are followed throughout the order lifecycle.
- Coordinate day-to-day operations related to client orders, sampling, production, alterations, dispatch, and delivery.
- Track sampling and production timelines and follow up proactively to ensure timely completion.
- Coordinate between the Design, Sampling, Production, and other relevant teams to ensure smooth workflow.
- Maintain records of samples, production status, alterations, approvals, and client requirements.
- Ensure that the final garments meet Saroj Jalan's standards of quality, fit, finish, craftsmanship, and presentation.

Pay: ₹10,140.18 - ₹50,442.70 per month
