The Store Helper will assist in the day-to-day operations of the store, including receiving, storing, and issuing goods. This role supports the Store Manager in maintaining inventory records, ensuring cleanliness and organization of the store, and helping with loading/unloading and dispatching materials as per operational needs.
Assist in receiving deliveries by checking physical quantities against invoices or delivery challans.
Label and store goods properly based on food safety and FIFO (First In, First Out) practices.
Maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of the store area as per company and FSSAI standards.
Help in daily inventory counts and reconciliation of stock.
Assist in loading and unloading raw materials, packaging items, and equipment.
Coordinate with kitchen/production team to issue materials as per requisitions.
Report any shortages, damages, or expired products immediately to the Store Manager.
Ensure all materials are kept in an organized and accessible manner.
Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while handling heavy loads or perishable goods.
Minimum Qualification: SSLC/10th pass preferred.
Experience: 0–2 years in a similar role (F&B/restaurant/hotel industry preferred).
Should be physically fit and able to lift moderate weights.
Basic understanding of stock handling and storekeeping practices.
Punctual, honest, and willing to work in a fast-paced environment.
May involve early morning shifts
Work may involve standing for long hours, lifting goods, and moving around the store.
