KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform venipuncture and capillary punctures on patients of all ages.
- Home collection of blood samples following proper procedures and safety protocols.
- Label and store specimens accurately for
- Maintain patient comfort and address concerns during procedures.
- Ensure cleanliness and sterilization of equipment
- Verify patient identity and maintain accurate records.
- Follow infection control and biohazard safety guidelines.
- Coordinate with laboratory staff for timely sample processing.
- PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:-
- Experience working in hospitals, clinics, or diagnostic labs.Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.CPR/First Aid certification.
- REQUIREMENTS:-
- Certification in Phlebotomy or relevant healthcare qualification.
- Experience as a phlebotomist is preferred but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of blood collection techniques and medical terminology.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to handle patients calmly and professionally.
- Basic computer skills for record-keeping.
