About the Role
Third Eye Innovations Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Testing Engineer to join our Quality Assurance team. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our web and mobile applications through comprehensive manual testing.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand business requirements and functional specifications.
- Prepare and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test data.
- Perform Manual Testing for web and mobile applications.
- Conduct Functional Testing, Regression Testing, Smoke Testing, Sanity Testing, UI Testing, and Cross-Browser Testing.
- Identify, document, and report software defects using bug-tracking tools.
- Verify bug fixes and perform re-testing.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, UI/UX Designers, and Project Managers.
- Maintain testing documentation and daily QA reports.
- Ensure applications meet quality standards before deployment.
Required Skills
- Basic understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
- Knowledge of Manual Testing concepts and testing methodologies.
- Familiarity with bug tracking tools such as Jira, ClickUp, or similar.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and API Testing using Postman is an added advantage.
- Basic understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology is preferred.
Educational Qualification
- B.E./B.Tech, BCA, MCA, B.Sc (Computer Science/Information Technology), or an equivalent qualification.
- Software Testing certification is an added advantage.
