Job Summary
We are looking for a proactive and experienced Logistics Coordinator to manage transportation operations across India. The ideal candidate should have experience in vehicle placement, transporter coordination, return load (backhaul) planning, and logistics documentation to ensure timely and cost-effective deliveries.
Key Responsibilities
- Arrange trucks and vehicles through transporters as per dispatch requirements.
- Coordinate return loads (Backhaul) to maximize vehicle utilization.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with transporters across India.
- Plan dispatches and ensure timely vehicle placement.
- Track vehicle movement and resolve transit issues.
- Coordinate loading and unloading schedules.
- Manage logistics documents including LR, E-Way Bill, POD and invoices.
- Monitor freight costs and identify opportunities for cost optimization.
- Ensure on-time delivery while maintaining service quality.
- Prepare daily logistics reports and MIS.
Eligibility
- Graduation in any discipline.
- 2–3 years of experience in Logistics, Transportation or Fleet Management.
- Experience in arranging vehicles through transporter networks across India.
- Good understanding of return load (Backhaul) planning.
- Knowledge of freight planning, routing and logistics documentation.
- Good negotiation, communication and coordination skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
