ABOUT THE ROLES
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive GeM Executive to manage and grow business opportunities through the Government e-Marketplace (GeM) portal. The candidate will be responsible for handling product listings, bid participation, tender management, order processing, and coordination with government departments to ensure successful business transactions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITY
· Manage and operate the GeM portal on a daily basis.
· Upload, update, and maintain product/service catalogs on GeM.
· Search and identify relevant bids, tenders, and procurement opportunities.
· Prepare and submit bids, quotations, and tender documents within deadlines.
· Coordinate with internal departments for pricing, documentation, and compliance requirements.
· Track bid status, purchase orders, and contract execution.
· Handle GeM order processing, invoicing, and payment follow-ups.
· Ensure compliance with GeM guidelines, government procurement policies, and company standards.
· Maintain records of tenders, orders, contracts, and customer communications.
· Build and maintain relationships with government departments and procurement officials.
· Generate periodic reports on bid participation, order status, revenue, and performance.
REQUIREMENTS
· Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Marketing, or a related field.
· 1–3 years of experience in GeM portal handling, tender management, or government sales.
· Freshers with strong knowledge of GeM operations may also apply. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Skills Required
· Strong knowledge of the GeM Portal and Government Procurement Processes.
· Experience in bid management and tender documentation.
· Good understanding of e-procurement procedures.
· Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
· Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
· Strong analytical and documentation skill.
