As a Deployment Lead, a typical day involves orchestrating the detailed execution of deployment activities by carefully planning and managing schedules, budgets, and resources. This role requires close collaboration with various project teams to ensure all deployment efforts are synchronized and interdependencies are effectively managed. Monitoring progress against the deployment plan and making necessary adjustments to maintain alignment and achieve project goals are key aspects of the daily routine. Additionally, the Deployment Lead oversees training initiatives and pilot programs to support a smooth transition during deployment phases.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive deployment plans that address all aspects of the project lifecycle.
- Facilitate effective communication and coordination among diverse teams to ensure seamless deployment execution.
- Monitor deployment progress and implement corrective actions to address any deviations or challenges.
- Support junior team members by providing guidance and fostering a collaborative environment.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Mainframe Application Performance Optimization.
- Good To Have Skills: Database Management, Database Activity Monitoring.
- Strong analytical skills to assess and optimize application performance within mainframe environments.
- Experience in coordinating complex deployment schedules and resource allocation.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve performance-related issues in mainframe applications.
- Familiarity with tools and techniques for monitoring and improving system efficiency.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Mainframe Application Performance Optimization.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
