Job Summary
The IVF Counselor is responsible for counselling and guiding infertility patients throughout their fertility treatment journey. The role includes patient education, treatment coordination, emotional support, follow-ups, and ensuring smooth communication between patients and the IVF medical team. The role also includes participation in satellite centre visits, fertility awareness camps, and outreach activities conducted by the organization.
Key ResponsibilitiesPatient Counselling & Guidance
· Counsel couples regarding infertility treatments including IUI, IVF, ICSI, donor programs, embryo transfer, freezing, and related procedures.
· Explain treatment plans, investigations, medications, procedures, timelines, and expected outcomes in simple and understandable language.
· Handle patient doubts, fears, and emotional concerns with empathy and professionalism.
· Motivate and guide patients for timely treatment initiation and continuation.
· Assist doctors during patient counselling whenever required.
Treatment Coordination
· Coordinate with doctors, embryologists, nursing staff, and front office teams for smooth patient management.
· Maintain proper follow-up of patients from consultation to treatment completion.
· Ensure all required investigations, consent forms, and documentation are completed on time.
Follow-up & Patient Management
· Conduct regular telephonic and in-person follow-ups with new and existing patients.
· Maintain good patient relationships and ensure proper counselling support throughout treatment.
· Handle patient queries and coordinate with the concerned department whenever required.
Satellite Centre & Camp Activities
· Attend and manage outside satellite centre visits, fertility awareness camps, and promotional activities organized by the clinic.
· Counsel walk-in patients during camps and outreach programs.
· Coordinate with local referring doctors and partner centres when required.
· Maintain follow-up of patients generated from camps and satellite centres.
· Be willing to travel as per organizational requirements for camps and outreach activities.
Documentation & Data Management
· Maintain accurate patient counselling records and follow-up data.
· Update patient status and counselling notes regularly.
· Ensure confidentiality of patient information and medical records.
Patient Experience
· Ensure high patient satisfaction and a positive treatment experience.
· Address patient concerns politely and professionally.
· Maintain a compassionate and supportive environment in the clinic.
Required Qualifications
· BAMS / BHMS mandatory.
· Candidates with experience in IVF/Fertility counselling will be preferred.

· Ability to manage camps and outreach activities
· Basic computer knowledge and documentation skills

Preferred Experience
· 1–5 years experience in IVF, gynecology, infertility counselling, or healthcare counselling preferred.
Working Conditions
· Full-time role
· Rotational shifts/weekend availability may be required as per clinic operations.
· Travel for satellite centres, camps, and outreach activities may be required.

Salary
· As per experience and industry standards.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
Work Location: In person
