Job Title: Science Workshop Facilitator
Role Summary:
The Science Workshop Facilitator is responsible for designing and conducting interactive, hands-on science workshops that inspire curiosity, creativity, and scientific thinking among students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and facilitate engaging science workshops, experiments, and STEM activities.
- Encourage inquiry-based and experiential learning through practical demonstrations and projects.
- Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment.
- Prepare workshop materials, equipment, and resources in advance.
- Guide students in scientific exploration, problem-solving, and critical thinking.
- Organize science fairs, exhibitions, competitions, and special events.
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of science equipment and materials.
- Collaborate with teachers and school leadership to align workshops with educational goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science, or related field).
- Teaching experience or experience conducting educational workshops is preferred.
- STEM education certifications are an added advantage.
Skills Required:
- Strong scientific knowledge and practical application skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Creativity in designing engaging learning experiences.
- Classroom and group management skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire students.
Experience:
- 1–5 years of experience in teaching, STEM education, science outreach, or workshop facilitation preferred.
Employment Type:
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹26,000.00 per month
