Amazon Bookkeeper (Amazon Seller Central Transactions)
We are seeking an experienced Amazon Bookkeeper to manage the financial records and reconciliation of our Amazon Seller Central business. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Amazon settlements, transaction reconciliation, and e-commerce bookkeeping, with the ability to accurately process high-volume financial data.
Responsibilities
1) Reconcile Amazon Settlement Reports, payouts, and transaction reports.
Review Amazon Seller Central orders, refunds, returns, reimbursements, chargebacks, and marketplace fees.
2) Record journal entries and maintain accurate General Ledger records.
3) Perform account and bank reconciliations and assist with month-end close activities.
4) Prepare financial reports, including Profit & Loss statements and support balance sheet reconciliations.
5) Reconcile Amazon FBA fees, referral fees, storage fees and advertising (PPC) expenses.
6) Monitor inventory-related transactions and assist with inventory reconciliation and Cost of Goods Sold tracking.
7) Process and analyze large datasets using Excel or Google Sheets while identifying and resolving discrepancies.
Requirements
2+ years of bookkeeping experience, preferably supporting Amazon or other e-commerce businesses.
Strong working knowledge of Amazon Seller Central and Amazon Settlement Reports.
Experience with account reconciliation, financial reporting, and month-end closure.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets, including Pivot Tables and lookup functions (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP).
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage high-volume transaction data.
Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.
