Job Summary
We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Media Buying & Planning professional with 3–5 years of experience in an advertising agency environment. The candidate will be responsible for developing media strategies, planning campaigns, negotiating media deals, managing media budgets, and ensuring effective campaign execution across various platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop strategic media plans aligned with client objectives and campaign goals.
- Plan and execute media campaigns across all channels.
- Research target audiences, market trends, and competitor activities to recommend effective media strategies.
- Negotiate rates, placements, and value additions with media vendors and publishers.
- Manage media budgets and ensure optimum utilization of allocated spends.
- Coordinate with internal teams including Client Servicing, Creative, Strategy, and Finance for seamless campaign execution.
- Monitor campaign performance and prepare periodic reports with actionable insights.
- Track campaign deliveries and ensure timely release of media schedules and materials.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with media partners and vendors.
- Analyze post-campaign performance and provide recommendations for future improvements.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Mass Media, Communications, or related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in Media Planning & Buying, only from an Advertising Agency.
- Strong understanding of traditional and digital media platforms.
- Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Knowledge of media research and planning tools.
- Strong analytical, presentation, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and media reporting tools.
- Ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines simultaneously.
Preferred Skills
- Experience handling integrated media campaigns for multiple clients.
- Understanding of digital advertising platforms such as Google Ads, Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and Programmatic Buying.
- Strong media network within the Mumbai advertising ecosystem.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced agency environment.
