Job Description – Fire Project Estimation Engineer
Position: Fire Project Estimation Engineer
Designation: Associate / Executive / Team Lead
Location: Pune
Experience: 2 – 6 Years
Salary: ₹35,000 – ₹45,000 per month (Based on Experience & Technical Expertise)
Key Responsibilities
Visit client sites and understand project requirements.
Prepare 2D concept drawings using AutoCAD.
Design fire protection systems as per NBC, NFPA, and FM Global standards.
Prepare BOQ, cost estimates, and project budgets.
Perform quantity take-offs and cost analysis.
Prepare technical and commercial bids/tenders.
Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors.
Conduct project evaluation and risk assessment.
Provide technical sales support for Greenfield and Brownfield projects.
Collaborate with internal teams and clients for project execution.
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of fire hydrant systems.
Strong knowledge of fire sprinkler systems.
Knowledge of Fire Detection Systems.
Understanding of Pump House and Fire Piping Systems.
Familiarity with NBC, NFPA, and FM Global standards.
AutoCAD proficiency.
BOQ Preparation.
Cost Estimation & Quantity Take-Off.
MS Excel and MS Word.
Good communication skills (English, Hindi, Marathi).
Qualification
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Fire Engineering.
Relevant industry experience preferred.
