The Front Office Supervisor is responsible for supervising the daily operations of the Front Office, ensuring efficient guest services, smooth check-in and check-out procedures, accurate communication, and a high standard of guest satisfaction. The position supports the Front Office Manager in maintaining operational standards and leading the Front Office team.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the Front Office team.
- Ensure smooth and efficient check-in and check-out procedures.
- Welcome guests and provide courteous, professional, and personalized service.
- Handle guest requests, enquiries, complaints, and service recovery effectively.
- Ensure accurate room status, guest information, billing, and registration procedures.
- Coordinate closely with Housekeeping regarding room readiness, room status, and special guest requirements.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth guest services and operations.
- Monitor and maintain proper handling of guest calls, messages, wake-up calls, and requests.
- Ensure proper cash handling, billing procedures, and shift handover.
- Monitor daily arrivals, departures, VIP guests, special occasions, and other important guest requirements.
- Ensure all Front Office records, reports, logs, and documents are maintained accurately.
- Assist in preparing daily operational reports as required.
- Ensure proper communication and handover between shifts.
- Train, guide, and motivate Front Office team members to maintain service standards.
- Monitor staff grooming, punctuality, discipline, and adherence to hotel policies.
- Ensure guest confidentiality and proper handling of guest information.
- Assist in resolving operational issues and escalate major concerns to the Front Office Manager.
- Ensure compliance with hotel SOPs, safety procedures, and service standards.
- Support the Front Office Manager in achieving departmental targets and maintaining guest satisfaction.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Management or Head of Department.

Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma/Degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–4 years of Front Office experience in a hotel/resort, preferably with supervisory experience.
- Experience in a 4-star/5-star hotel or resort will be an advantage.
- Knowledge of PMS and standard Front Office procedures is preferred.
