Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Global Operations Manager – Sourcing & Origin Operations to manage end-to-end origin-side supply chain operations for international sourcing. This role acts as the bridge between sourcing strategy and operational execution, ensuring seamless coordination from harvest planning to export dispatch.
The ideal candidate will work closely with growers, sellers, logistics partners, Customs House Agents (CHAs), and internal teams to align harvest schedules, oversee quality control, manage export documentation, negotiate commercial rates, and ensure timely shipment execution. Strong Excel skills and excellent English communication are essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the complete sourcing-to-operations handoff for origin-side execution.
- Coordinate with sellers, growers, and sourcing teams to align harvest timelines, dispatch schedules, and operational activities.
- Monitor and coordinate origin-level quality control to ensure products meet required specifications before shipment.
- Identify, onboard, and manage global Customs House Agents (CHAs) to ensure smooth customs clearance across international markets.
- Oversee export documentation and ensure accuracy and compliance with international trade requirements.
- Negotiate commercial rates with suppliers, vendors, logistics partners, and service providers.
- Maintain detailed operational trackers using Microsoft Excel for harvest schedules, dispatch planning, QC status, and vendor management.
- Resolve shipment delays, documentation discrepancies, and operational issues proactively.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and efficient execution of global supply chain operations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Agribusiness, International Trade, Logistics, or a related field.
- 3–6 years of experience in global sourcing, export operations, international logistics, supply chain, or agri-commodity trading.
- Hands-on experience coordinating with suppliers, origin vendors, or exporters.
- Good understanding of export documentation, customs procedures, and CHA coordination.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, formulas, scheduling sheets, and data tracking.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
- Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple operational timelines while maintaining high attention to detail.
Preferred Background:
Candidates from global sourcing companies, freight forwarding firms, export houses, international logistics companies, agri-export businesses, or commodity trading organizations will be preferred.
