We are seeking an experienced and strategic Finance Leader with over 18 years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Financial Reporting, Business Performance Management, and Finance Transformation within global banking and financial services. The ideal candidate will partner closely with senior business leaders and CFOs to drive financial strategy, business performance, governance, and transformation initiatives while leveraging digital technologies and AI-enabled solutions to enhance decision-making and operational efficiency.
- Partner with business leaders and finance stakeholders to provide strategic financial insights that support business growth and informed decision-making.
- Lead financial planning activities including annual budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, and scenario analysis.
- Deliver executive-level financial reporting, dashboards, and performance analytics for senior leadership and governance forums.
- Perform detailed financial statement analysis, including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow reporting.
- Drive profitability analysis, return metrics (including RoTE), and business performance monitoring to identify opportunities for value creation.
- Conduct financial viability assessments and evaluate strategic investment proposals through financial modelling and scenario analysis.
- Support credit risk assessment and financial due diligence by analyzing financial performance and identifying key business risks.
- Establish robust financial governance, internal controls, compliance, and audit readiness across finance processes.
- Lead finance transformation initiatives focused on process optimization, automation, and digital enablement.
- Leverage AI-enabled financial tools, including the HSBC AI Productivity Suite, to improve reporting accuracy, productivity, and analytical capabilities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement automation solutions that streamline financial reporting and enhance data quality.
- Manage multiple strategic finance projects, ensuring timely delivery, stakeholder alignment, and effective change management.
- Mentor and lead high-performing finance teams while fostering collaboration, capability development, and continuous improvement.

- 18+ years of experience in Finance, FP&A, Financial Reporting, or Finance Transformation within Banking or Financial Services.
- Proven experience partnering with CFOs, senior executives, and global stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of banking products, financial performance metrics, governance, and regulatory reporting.
- Demonstrated experience delivering finance transformation initiatives, automation programs, and AI-enabled reporting solutions.
- Excellent analytical, presentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior leadership.
