Plant Engineer – Installation, Operations & Maintenance

About the Role
Own the technical setup of our new processing facility — from machine placement and commissioning through to ongoing plant operations, maintenance, and safety compliance.
Phase 1 – Commissioning (immediate)
Study GA drawings and machine specs to finalize machine placement
Prepare electrical load lists and brief electrical/plumbing contractors on exact point locations
Oversee machine unloading, leveling, anchoring, and OEM trial runs/operator training
Align dust extraction/ventilation ducting before final closure
Drive the punch-list to closure and keep documentation organized
Phase 2 – Ongoing Operations
Preventive and breakdown maintenance of machinery, electrical systems, and utilities
Manage AMC contracts and spare-parts inventory
Enforce safety (PPE, machine guarding, fire drills) and support R2v3, NAID AAA, and GPCB audits
Oversee housekeeping, 5S, material flow, and CCTV/access-control upkeep
You'll Need
Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
4–10 years in plant installation & commissioning
Ability to read GA drawings and electrical SLDs
Strong vendor/contractor coordination — you'll juggle 3–4 teams at once
Hands-on, shop-floor mindset; basic Excel/reporting
Hindi/Gujarati for floor coordination, English for reporting
Compensation: ₹30,000–55,000/month (As per the relevant experience)
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
