About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented professional with strong experience in Public Relations and Media Relations. The ideal candidate should have prior PR agency experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage client relationships while driving impactful media visibility.
Key ResponsibilitiesClient Servicing
- Act as a key point of contact for clients and manage daily communication
- Understand client business, industry trends, and competition
- Assist in developing PR and media strategies
- Create press releases, pitch notes, articles, FAQs, and other communication materials
- Support account leads in campaign execution
Media Relations
- Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists and media houses
- Drive media coverage across print, digital, TV, and trade platforms
- Identify and pitch relevant stories proactively
- Maintain and update media databases
- Track media trends and provide actionable insights
Reporting & Coordination
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports
- Ensure timely execution of deliverables and PR plans
- Participate in WIP meetings and client calls
- Share MOMs and updates within defined timelines
Requirements
- 4–5 years of experience in a PR agency
- Strong network with media/journalists
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple clients
- Creative thinking with problem-solving mindset
- Self-motivated and team-oriented
Qualifications
- Graduate in any discipline
- MBA / Mass Communication (preferred)
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience in handling Technology Media will be an added advantage
Preferred Skills
- Strong storytelling and content development ability
- Knowledge of local media landscape
- Ability to deliver under tight deadlines
