Rental Plaza is a PAN India IT equipment rental company providing laptops, desktops, MacBooks, servers, and gaming systems on rent to corporates, startups, educational institutes, events, and individuals. We are expanding our technical team and looking for a skilled Computer Technician to manage installation, maintenance, and support of IT rental equipment.
Job Summary
The Computer Technician will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, configuring, and maintaining laptops, desktops, MacBooks, and related hardware/software. The role includes preparing systems for rental deployment, on-site support, and ensuring all rented equipment is delivered in perfect working condition.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair hardware issues in laptops, desktops, and MacBooks
- Install and configure operating systems (Windows, macOS) and required software
- Prepare systems for rental deployment (formatting, testing, quality checks)
- Handle installation, setup, and troubleshooting at client locations when required
- Perform regular maintenance, upgrades, and performance optimization
- Identify and replace faulty components (RAM, SSD, HDD, motherboard, power supply, etc.)
- Handle basic networking tasks such as LAN setup, Wi-Fi configuration, and printer support
- Maintain inventory records of IT equipment and spare parts
- Coordinate with operations team for timely delivery and pickup of rental devices
- Ensure data security and proper data wiping before and after rentals
- Provide basic technical support to clients during rental period
- Follow company SOPs and safety standards
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
