ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Audit Associate to join the finance and compliance team for a fast-growing manufacturing and trading business environment. The role requires hands-on exposure in statutory audit support, internal controls review, GST and Income Tax compliance verification, reconciliations, and financial scrutiny across operational and accounting functions.
The candidate should possess strong accounting fundamentals, practical audit exposure, and the ability to independently coordinate with internal teams and consultants.
Key Responsibilities: -
· Conduct internal audit and transaction verification of accounting records.
· Review purchase, sales, inventory, expense, and banking transactions.
· Verify GST compliance including input credit matching, reconciliations, and return data validation.
· Assist in Income Tax, TDS, TCS, and statutory compliance audits.
· Perform ledger scrutiny, vendor/customer reconciliation, and balance confirmations.
· Review supporting documents, invoices, vouchers, and accounting entries.
· Assist in preparation of audit schedules, working papers, and management reports.
· Identify accounting discrepancies, process gaps, and control weaknesses.
· Coordinate with accounts, operations, and management teams for audit closure.
· Support statutory auditors, tax auditors, and consultants during audits and assessments.
· Ensure proper maintenance of documentation and compliance records.
Desired Candidate Profile: -
· B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter / CMA Inter preferred.
· 1–3 years of experience in audit, accounting, or compliance functions.
· Experience in manufacturing or trading industry preferred.
Good understanding of: -
· Accounting principles
· GST
· TDS/TCS
· Income Tax basics
· Reconciliations and financial controls
· Working knowledge of Tally and MS Excel is mandatory.
· Ability to analyze data and identify irregularities.
· Strong communication and reporting skills.
· Ability to work under timelines and handle multiple assignments.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
