We are seeking a creative and enthusiastic Trainee Designer to join our Workplace Furniture and Interior Design team. This role is ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals who are passionate about workspace design, furniture planning, and creating functional, aesthetically appealing office environments.
The Trainee Designer will support senior designers in developing workplace interior solutions, furniture layouts, space planning concepts, and project documentation while gaining hands-on experience in commercial interior design projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of workplace furniture layouts and interior design concepts.
- Develop 2D drawings, furniture plans, and space planning proposals.
- Support the design team in preparing presentations, mood boards, and material selections.
- Coordinate with sales, project management, and procurement teams to ensure design requirements are met.
- Participate in site visits, measurements, and project surveys.
- Assist in preparing furniture specifications, BOQs (Bill of Quantities), and design documentation.
- Create 3D visualizations and renderings as required.
- Research workplace design trends, materials, furniture systems, and innovative space solutions.
- Support project execution by reviewing drawings and ensuring compliance with client requirements and company standards.
- Maintain project files, drawings, and design records.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, Furniture Design, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of workplace interiors, furniture systems, and space planning principles.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential.
- Working knowledge of SketchUp, Revit, 3ds Max, Lumion, or similar design software is an advantage.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and presentation tools.
- Strong visual, creative, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced project environment.
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
