We're Hiring: Video Editor (Entry to Mid-Level)
Pooja Studios is looking for a full-time Video Editor to help bring our raw footage to life. We welcome anyone who has solid editing skills and a good eye for what makes a video engaging. We want someone who is dependable, willing to learn, and comfortable following clear instructions.
What You Will Do
Your tasks may include:
- Editing short videos (Reels, TikToks, Shorts) for social media
- Editing simple long-form videos
- Adding text, captions, and transitions to make videos more engaging
- Working from clear briefs, and sometimes building videos from scratch with just a rough idea
- Organizing and managing video files and project folders
- Keeping up with what's trending in short-form video
Some projects will come with clear instructions, while others will need you to think it through and bring your own ideas.
Who Will Succeed in This Role
You are a good fit if you:
- Know how to use editing software like CapCut, Premiere, Final Cut, or DaVinci Resolve
- Understand pacing and what keeps people watching a video
- Are organized and detail-oriented
- Can balance speed with quality
- Stay updated on short-form video trends
