Evoluzn India designs embedded hardware and control systems for industrial and IoT applications. We’re expanding our hardware team and need a PCB Designer who can take circuits from schematic to production-ready Gerber files.
Role: PCB Designer – KiCad
You’ll own the PCB layout process for our embedded boards, working closely with hardware engineers to deliver reliable, manufacturable designs.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and review schematics and multilayer PCB layouts using KiCadTranslate circuit requirements into optimized board layouts.
- Build and maintain KiCad component libraries, footprints, and 3D models.
- Generate Gerber files, drill files, and assembly drawings for fabrication and assembly
- Collaborate with hardware engineers and PCB vendors to resolve layout issues and improve manufacturability
- Document design revisions and manage Engineering Change Orders
- Requirements
- BE/BTech/Diploma in ECE, EEE, or related field with minimum 60% aggregateHands-on experience with KiCad for PCB design.
- Freshers with a strong final year KiCad PCB project will be consideredSolid understanding of PCB stackup, grounding, power planes, and layout best practices for 2–4 layer boards.
- Knowledge of IPC standards, Gerber output, and fabrication constraintsGood attention to detail and ability to work to design rules.
- Good to HaveExperience with high-speed, analog, or mixed-signal PCB layouts
- Basic understanding of impedance control and signal integrityParticipation in hardware hackathons, robotics, or electronics competitionsFamiliarity with component sourcing and BOM creation
