Job Title: Physiotherapist – Child Development Centre (CDC)

Job Summary:
We are looking for a compassionate, dedicated, and experienced Physiotherapist with prior experience in a Child Development Centre (CDC). The candidate should have hands-on experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, Cerebral Palsy, Developmental Delay, Down Syndrome, Sensory Processing Difficulties, and other neurodevelopmental conditions. The ideal candidate should be passionate about helping children achieve their maximum functional independence through evidence-based physiotherapy interventions.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess children using standardized and clinical assessment tools.
- Develop individualized physiotherapy treatment plans based on each child’s needs.
- Provide therapy sessions focusing on gross motor development, balance, coordination, posture, strength, gait training, and functional mobility.
- Work with children diagnosed with ASD, ADHD, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, Developmental Delay, Genetic Syndromes, and other pediatric neurological and orthopedic conditions.
- Conduct early intervention programs for infants and toddlers.
- Address muscle tone abnormalities, motor planning, postural control, endurance, and mobility challenges.
- Collaborate closely with Occupational Therapists, Speech Therapists, Behaviour Therapists, Special Educators, Psychologists, and Nutritionists to achieve multidisciplinary goals.
- Educate and guide parents on home exercise programs and carry-over activities.
- Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, reassessments, and treatment reports.
- Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions and parent counselling sessions.
- Ensure child safety, infection control, and ethical clinical practices.
- Assist in creating therapy goals and individualized intervention plans.
- Monitor child progress regularly and modify treatment plans accordingly.
- Build positive therapeutic relationships with children and their families.
- Maintain therapy equipment and ensure an engaging therapy environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Physiotherapy (BPT/MPT).
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a Child Development Centre or pediatric rehabilitation setting.
- Experience working with children with ASD, ADHD, Cerebral Palsy, Developmental Delay, Down Syndrome, and other pediatric conditions.
- Good understanding of pediatric developmental milestones and motor development.
- Strong assessment, clinical reasoning, and treatment planning skills.
- Excellent documentation and report-writing abilities.
- Good communication, counselling, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Compassionate, patient, punctual, and child-friendly approach.
- Willingness to learn and participate in continuous professional development.
Preferred Skills
Knowledge of early intervention and neurodevelopmental therapy approaches.
- Experience in sensory-motor interventions and functional rehabilitation.
- Ability to engage children through play-based therapy techniques.
- Strong observation and problem-solving skills.

Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
