Job Description:
We are seeking a talented Node.js Developer to join our dynamic team at Media Tech Temple. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about building robust server-side applications and have a deep understanding of modern web technologies. You will work closely with our team of developers, designers, and product managers to create scalable, high-performance applications for our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain server-side applications using Node.js.
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
- Write reusable, testable, and efficient code.
- Design and implement low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications.
- Implement security and data protection measures.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Troubleshoot and debug applications.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
- Work on media-related projects, such as streaming services, content management systems, and interactive media applications.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Node.js Developer or similar role.
- Strong proficiency with JavaScript and the JavaScript runtime environment.
- Understanding of asynchronous programming and its quirks and workarounds.
- Experience with Express.js or other Node.js frameworks.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs.
- Knowledge of front-end technologies, such as HTML5 and CSS3.
- Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application.
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
- Experience with databases such as MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
- Familiarity with media streaming technologies and protocols is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Familiarity with microservices architecture.
- Experience with GraphQL.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies.
