Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Overseas Education Counsellor to recruit and guide students aspiring to pursue higher education abroad. The ideal candidate should possess excellent counselling, communication, and sales skills, with the ability to convert inquiries into successful student admissions while delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities: Student Counselling
- Counsel students and parents regarding overseas education opportunities.
- Assess students' academic background, career goals, and financial profile.
- Recommend suitable universities, colleges, and study programs.
- Explain admission requirements, eligibility criteria, tuition fees, scholarships, and career prospects.
Student Recruitment & Admissions
- Generate student enrollments through walk-ins, referrals, digital leads, seminars, and educational events.
- Convert enquiries into successful admissions.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly admission targets.
- Build a strong pipeline of prospective students.
Application Processing
- Guide students through the complete admission process.
- Assist with university applications and documentation.
- Review Statements of Purpose (SOPs), Letters of Recommendation (LORs), resumes, and other application documents.
- Ensure timely submission of applications.
Visa & Pre-Departure Support
- Assist students with visa documentation.
- Coordinate with visa processing teams.
- Conduct pre-departure counselling sessions.
- Guide students regarding accommodation, travel, insurance, and other pre-departure formalities.
Business Development
- Conduct seminars, webinars, school visits, college presentations, and education fairs.
- Build relationships with schools, colleges, coaching centres, and educational consultants.
- Participate in marketing campaigns to generate student leads.
Client Relationship Management
- Maintain regular follow-ups with prospective students.
- Build long-term relationships with students and parents.
- Maintain accurate records in CRM.
- Update student progress throughout the admission cycle.
Reporting
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
- Track enquiries, applications, offers, visas, and enrollments.
- Monitor conversion ratios and admission performance.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Monthly student counselling sessions
- Number of student enquiries generated
- Lead-to-admission conversion rate
- Number of university applications submitted
- Offer letters received
- Student visa success rate

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree (Master's preferred).
- 1–5 years of experience in Overseas Education Counselling or Student Recruitment.
- Freshers with excellent communication skills may also apply.
Pay: ₹11,043.01 - ₹30,000.00 per month
