Key Responsibilities
1. Set up CNC turning machines with aerospace-grade tooling, fixtures, and raw materials.
2. Interpret aerospace engineering drawings and GD&T to machine complex rotational components.
3. Program and adjust CNC turning operations (G-code/CAM) for precision aerospace parts.
4. Perform first-article inspections to validate dimensions and tolerances.
5. Conduct in-process and final checks using micrometers, calipers, and CMM for accuracy.
6. Maintain compliance with AS9100, NADCAP, and OEM standards throughout machining.
7. Document machining parameters and inspection results for full traceability.
8. Ensure material certification and process traceability for audit readiness.
9. Follow strict safety and FOD prevention practices in aerospace manufacturing environments.
10. Collaborate with engineers and quality teams to resolve machining issues and drive continuous improvement.
11. Demonstrate strong CNC programming skills and the ability to prove out parts with minimal supervision.
12. Exhibit a dynamic, proactive, and energetic approach—anticipating work requirements and maintaining high productivity standards.
