Key Responsibilities
Report to and support the Pro Vice-Chancellor in shaping and executing the university’s research strategy
Lead the development and implementation of research programs, policies, and initiatives
Oversee research projects, centres, and interdisciplinary collaborations
Identify and secure research funding through grants, partnerships, and industry collaboration
Ensure compliance with academic, ethical, and regulatory standards
Promote high-quality research output, publications, and global visibility
Requirements
Demonstrated ability to work closely with and report to the Pro Vice-Chancellor
Strong leadership, organizational, and team management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Strategic mindset with the ability to drive institutional impact
