Key Responsibilities
- Develop custom WordPress websites from Figma, Adobe XD, or design mockups.
- Build responsive, fast-loading, and SEO-friendly websites.
- Customize WordPress themes and plugins based on project requirements.
- Develop custom themes and plugins whenever required.
- Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, CRMs, chat systems, and other external services.
- Create and manage WooCommerce websites and e-commerce functionalities.
- Optimize website speed, Core Web Vitals, performance, and security.
- Troubleshoot website issues, bugs, and plugin conflicts.
- Perform website migrations, backups, updates, and maintenance.
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers, project managers, and digital marketing teams for smooth project execution.
- Maintain clean, scalable, and well-documented code.
Required Skills & Experience
- 1–3 years of experience in WordPress development.
- Strong proficiency in:
- WordPress CMS
- PHP
- HTML5
- CSS3
- JavaScript
- jQuery
- MySQL
- Experience with WooCommerce development and customization.
- Strong knowledge of Elementor, WPBakery, Gutenberg, or similar page builders.
- Experience with Advanced Custom Fields (ACF), Custom Post Types (CPT), and custom taxonomies.
- Knowledge of website optimization, caching, image optimization, and Core Web Vitals.
- Experience integrating payment gateways, forms, APIs, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and other third-party services.
- Familiarity with Git and version control.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Shopify or other CMS platforms is an added advantage.
- Knowledge of on-page SEO and technical SEO best practices.
- Experience with cPanel, Hostinger, GoDaddy, Cloudflare, DNS management, SSL, and website deployment.
- Familiarity with Figma and UI implementation.
- Basic understanding of React.js or modern frontend frameworks is a plus.
