Job Description: Quality Control (QC) Executive

Role Objective
We are looking for a detail-oriented Quality Control (QC) Executive with specialized proficiency in AutoCAD. You will be responsible for ensuring that all packaging products meet our rigorous quality standards and dimensional specifications. By bridging the gap between technical design and physical production, you will play a critical role in maintaining our reputation for excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Design & Specification Review: Use AutoCAD to read, interpret, and occasionally modify technical drawings and blueprints for packaging structures.
- Dimensional Inspection: Perform precise measurements of raw materials and finished goods to ensure they align with the CAD specifications.
- In-Process Quality Checks: Monitor the production line to identify defects or deviations early in the manufacturing cycle.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed reports of inspections, non-conformance reports (NCR), and quality certificates.
- Testing: Conduct physical tests (e.g., burst strength, GSM, moisture content, and joint strength) relevant to packaging materials.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Production and Design teams to troubleshoot manufacturing issues and optimize product durability.
- Compliance: Ensure all processes adhere to ISO standards and company-specific quality protocols.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Education: Graduate/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Packaging Technology, or a related field.
- Software Expertise: Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD (2D/3D) is mandatory.
- Experience: 1–3 years of experience in Quality Control, preferably within the packaging or manufacturing industry.
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with measuring instruments (Vernier calipers, Micrometers, Gauges) and quality testing equipment.
- Attention to Detail: An eagle eye for spotting minor structural flaws or dimensional inaccuracies.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for reporting and inter-departmental coordination.
