Strategic Sourcing & Vendor Management: Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure the best pricing, delivery terms, and quality standards. Discover new or alternate vendors to mitigate supply chain risks.
Expert understanding of engineering drawings, sheet metal processes, casting/forging, and local logistics frameworks.
FMEG Material Sourcing: Procure critical raw materials (copper, aluminum, polycarbonates) and electronic components (PCBs, LEDs, microcontrollers) under strict cost targets
Procurement-to-Pay (P2P) Cycle: Manage the end-to-end purchasing workflow, from generating purchase requisitions (PR) and requests for quotations (RFQ) to processing purchase orders (PO) and tracking deliveries.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate directly with Production Planning, Quality Control, and Engineering teams to ensure material availability before production runs begin.
Inventory & Demand Planning: Monitor raw materials, packing materials, and MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Operations) stock levels to balance cost with availability.
Vendor Capacity Management: Evaluate and monitor electrical component suppliers for scalability, production capacity, and financial stability Maintain alternative sourcing channels for high-demand electronic commodities to prevent factory line stoppages.
Reporting & Compliance: Maintain accurate records within the company's ERP system (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and prepare regular MIS reports regarding spending, price fluctuations, and vendor performance.
Requirements:
Experience: 4–8 years of progressive procurement or strategic sourcing experience in a manufacturing or production-heavy environment.
Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with ERP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced proficiency in data analysis (especially Excel).
Core Competencies: Strong negotiation, analytical, problem-solving, and cross-departmental communication skills.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
