Accountabilities
1. Compliance Management
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures related to payment processing.
- Handle statutory compliance including:
- GST: Preparation and filing of monthly returns, annual returns, and support for tax audits.
- TDS: Timely deposit to Government accounts, issuance of TDS certificates, and filing quarterly returns.
2. Concurrent & Internal Audit (CIA)
- Conduct audits in accordance with the Company’s CIA Task Manual and guidelines.
3. Banking & Treasury Operations
- Assist in managing banking transactions and treasury-related activities.
4. Accounts Receivable
- Coordinate with the Sales team to follow up with distributors/customers for timely collection of receivables.
5. Accounts Payable
- Plan and schedule vendor payments to ensure timely processing and release.
6. Additional Responsibilities
- Perform other tasks assigned by the Reporting Officer or Management based on organizational requirements.
Key Responsibilities
1. Concurrent & Internal Audit (CIA)
- Review and verify supporting documents related to payment instructions received by the Accounts/Banking section to ensure accuracy, transparency, and authenticity.
- Ensure all payments are processed in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Conduct internal audits in allocated departments/transactional areas as per CIA guidelines.
- Prepare and submit CIA reports, especially highlighting areas of non-compliance, to the designated authority.
2. Support to Manager – Finance & Accounts
- Plan and schedule payments to suppliers, service providers, and other beneficiaries as per approved payment instructions.
- Execute payment releases as per the approved plan.
- Ensure timely follow-up on receivables through the Sales team to maintain effective control over outstanding balances.
- Perform daily bank reconciliation between bank statements and company books of accounts.
- Assist in maintaining inventory records in the ERP system.
3. Additional Duties
- Undertake any other responsibilities assigned by the Reporting Officer or Management as required.
Qualification: M.Com / MBA -Finance / B. Com / BBA – Finance
Essential Skills: Practical knowledge / Experience in Spread Sheets such as Excel, Google Sheet
