Role Summary :
The Senior Tech Lead will own development and integration of enterprise AP-side OpenWiFi features, networking components, and wireless platform enhancements. The role requires strong hands-on expertise in OpenWrt, enterprise networking, and QCA/ARHT wireless systems.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead AP-side feature development for enterprise Wi-Fi solutions.
- Integrate enterprise features such as :
i. RADIUS authentication
ii. Captive portal
iii. Multi-SSID/VLAN management
iv. Guest access features
v. WPA2/WPA3 Enterprise
- Customize and optimize OpenWrt platform components.
- Work on QCA and ARHT Wi-Fi driver integration/debugging.
- Support kernel/package migration and upgrade activities.
- Debug wireless and networking performance issues.
- Collaborate with controller/cloud/ODM teams.
- Mentor junior engineers and review code quality.
Required Skills :
Mandatory :
- 7+ years of embedded Linux/OpenWrt development experience
- Strong C/C++ programming skills
- Good understanding of :
i. Linux networking stack
ii. OpenWrt internals
iii. hostapd/netifd/ubus
- Enterprise AP architecture
- Strong knowledge of :
i. TCP/IP
ii. VLANs
iii. Routing/bridging
iv. QoS
v. RADIUS
vi. Captive portal concepts
- Experience with QCA and ARHT Wi-Fi platforms/drivers
- Experience debugging wireless/networking issues
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
Preferred :
- OpenWiFi/TIP experience
- EasyMesh/802.11s knowledge
- Experience with enterprise hotspot deployments
- CI/CD and automation exposure
Pay: ₹800,000.00 - ₹1,500,000.00 per year
