About the Role
Amtrix Infotech is looking for Freight Brokers to join our growing logistics team in Mohali. We are seeking motivated, confident, and target-driven individuals who can connect shippers with carriers and manage freight movements efficiently.
Freshers with strong communication and negotiation skills are welcome to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Source and develop relationships with shippers and carriers.
- Negotiate freight rates and secure profitable loads.
- Coordinate with carriers to arrange timely pickup and delivery.
- Track shipments and provide regular updates to customers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and transportation partners.
- Handle rate negotiations, load booking, and shipment coordination.
- Follow up with prospects and generate new business opportunities.
- Resolve shipment-related issues and coordinate with relevant teams.
- Maintain accurate records of loads, customers, carriers, and transactions.
- Consistently achieve assigned sales and performance targets.
Candidate Requirements
- Excellent English communication and negotiation skills.
- Confident and comfortable speaking with international clients and carriers.
- Strong sales and relationship-building abilities.
- Target-oriented and self-motivated.
- Good follow-up and problem-solving skills.
- Basic computer/MS Office knowledge.
- Previous experience in US trucking, freight brokerage, logistics, or international sales is an advantage.
