Job Summary
Dr. Aravind’s IVF Fertility & Pregnancy Centre is looking for a responsible and caring Nursing Assistant to support the nursing and clinical team in providing comfortable and organized patient care.
The role involves assisting with basic patient support, maintaining cleanliness and readiness of patient-care areas, helping nursing staff with routine activities, and ensuring smooth day-to-day clinical operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist nursing staff with routine patient-care activities.
- Support patients with basic needs as directed by the nursing team.
- Help prepare patient rooms, beds, and care areas.
- Assist with patient movement and transportation within the centre when required.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of patient-care areas.
- Help arrange basic supplies and equipment required by the nursing team.
- Support nurses during routine clinical activities as instructed.
- Observe and report any patient concerns to the nursing staff promptly.
- Assist with maintaining a comfortable and safe environment for patients and attendants.
- Follow hygiene, infection-control, and workplace safety practices.
- Handle basic patient-care materials responsibly.
- Support the nursing team with day-to-day departmental activities.
- Maintain professional communication with patients, attendants, and staff.
- Follow instructions provided by senior nursing and clinical personnel.
Eligibility
- Minimum qualification: 10th / 12th pass or relevant healthcare-related qualification.
- Previous experience in a hospital, clinic, healthcare centre, or patient-care environment is preferred.
- Freshers with a willingness to learn may also apply.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work as part of a healthcare team.
