About the Role
O'Brien is seeking a motivated Technical Sales & Estimation Engineer to join our growing team in Bengaluru. This role is ideal for a Mechanical Engineer who enjoys working with customers, preparing technical proposals, and collaborating with engineering teams to deliver practical solutions.
We're looking for someone with strong communication skills, commercial awareness, and a proactive approach to building customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and coordinate technical and commercial quotations and tender submissions
- Work closely with engineering and service teams to develop customer-focused solutions
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to identify opportunities for service contracts, spare parts, and equipment sales
- Follow up on quotations and support the sales process to maximise conversion
- Maintain accurate customer and opportunity records in Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM
- Monitor market trends, customer requirements, and competitor activity
- Provide regular pipeline updates and sales forecasts to the leadership team.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- 3–5 years' experience in technical sales, estimation, applications engineering, or sales support within the industrial or mechanical engineering sector
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the confidence to engage professionally with customers and internal stakeholders
- Strong relationship-building, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage multiple quotations, tenders, and priorities effectively
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM is an advantage
- A proactive, customer-focused mindset with a willingness to learn and grow
Pay: ₹75,000.00 - ₹90,000.00 per month
