Key Responsibilities:
- Source and develop new vendors for CNC machining, sheet metal, fabrication, casting, and mechanical components.
- Evaluate vendor capabilities based on technical drawings, production capacity, quality systems, and pricing.
- Coordinate with suppliers for RFQs, quotations, lead times, and technical clarifications.
- Analyze engineering drawings, BOMs, and technical specifications for vendor matching.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and contracts to ensure cost-effective procurement.
- Monitor supplier performance on quality, delivery timelines, and compliance.
- Conduct vendor audits and maintain approved supplier databases.
- Collaborate with internal engineering, quality, and production teams for sourcing requirements.
- Stay updated on market trends, raw material costs, and manufacturing technologies.
Required Skills:
- Strong understanding of CNC machining processes, mechanical components, and manufacturing methods.
- Knowledge of technical drawings, GD&T, and mechanical engineering specifications.
- Vendor management and supplier development expertise.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems, and sourcing tools.
- Cost analysis and procurement strategy understanding.
Educational Qualification:
- Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related any field.
- Education can vary, but technical knowledge in CNC and mechanical engineering is essential.
Pay: ₹9,938.96 - ₹15,000.00 per month
