THE ROLE
As the Head of Data Analytics, you will lead the vision, strategy, and execution of LogisticsNow's data function, transforming complex logistics and supply chain data into actionable business insights. This is a founding leadership role where you will architect scalable data infrastructure, build high-performing analytics capabilities, and partner closely with founders and business leaders to enable data-driven decision-making across the organization.

WHAT YOU'LL OWN
✅ Define and execute the organization's data strategy aligned with business objectives and long-term growth.
✅ Build and lead the end-to-end data function, including data architecture, analytics, reporting, and governance.
✅ Develop scalable Business Intelligence (BI) capabilities, dashboards, and KPI frameworks for cross-functional teams.
✅ Partner with Product, Engineering, Operations, Finance, and Leadership to drive strategic decisions through data.
✅ Build predictive analytics and optimization models that improve logistics efficiency, pricing, customer experience, and operational performance.
✅ Establish best practices for data quality, security, governance, and compliance.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
✅ Data Strategy & Leadership:
Define the company's data vision and roadmap while building scalable analytics capabilities to support business growth.
✅ Data Architecture & Infrastructure:
Design and manage modern data platforms, pipelines, warehouses, and reporting systems that support enterprise-scale analytics.
✅ Business Intelligence & Analytics:
Develop dashboards, KPIs, and self-service reporting solutions that enable business teams to make faster, data-driven decisions.
✅ Predictive Analytics:
Build forecasting, optimization, and predictive models for logistics operations, freight intelligence, pricing, emissions benchmarking, and route optimization.
✅ Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Operations, Sales, Finance, and Leadership teams to solve business challenges using data.
✅ Team Building & Leadership:
Hire, mentor, and develop a high-performing analytics team while fostering a culture of innovation, ownership, and continuous improvement.
✅ Data Governance & Security:
Implement robust data governance practices, ensuring data accuracy, quality, accessibility, privacy, and compliance.
✅ Business Growth:
Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, discover new revenue streams, and influence strategic business initiatives through data insights.
REQUIREMENTS
✅Experience
5–10+ years of experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Data Science, or Data Leadership roles.
Proven experience building or scaling analytics and data functions.
Experience leading cross-functional analytics initiatives in high-growth organizations.
✅Technical Skills
Strong hands-on expertise in SQL and Python.
Experience with BI platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar visualization tools.
Strong understanding of cloud data platforms, data warehouses, ETL/ELT pipelines, and modern analytics architectures.
Experience developing predictive models, forecasting solutions, and business optimization frameworks.
✅Industry Knowledge
Experience in Logistics, Supply Chain, Transportation, Energy, Manufacturing, or SaaS industries is highly preferred.
Understanding of enterprise analytics, operational KPIs, and data-driven business strategy.
✅Leadership Skills
Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
Experience building, mentoring, and leading high-performing analytics teams.
Ability to communicate complex analytical insights to executive leadership and business stakeholders. Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment with high ownership.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
✅ Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Analytics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related quantitative discipline.
✅ Experience designing enterprise-scale analytics platforms and modern data ecosystems.
✅ Exposure to AI, Machine Learning, or advanced analytics within logistics or supply chain domains.
