Technical/Functional Skills
- Should have 4-7 years of IT experience and minimum 3 years of DataStage experience
- Preferably should have worked on DataStage 11.x
- Should be able to create ETL Design Documents & Mapping Specification Documents
- Should be able to understand Data Models
- Should have knowledge on Data Warehouse concepts, star schema.
- Should have enough experience to work on UNIX & Shell Scripting
- Should have strong PL/SQL & SQL Tuning skills
- Design DataStage jobs using various file stages, Database stages and Transformation stages.
- Should be involved in performance tuning of the DataStage job designs.
- Design parallel local and shared containers.
- Design sequence to automate the whole process of data loading.
- Preparation of HLD about architecture of the application and high level design.
- Preparation of LLD about job design, job description and in detail information of the Datastage jobs.
- Preparation of Unit Test cases and execution of the same.
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to application development teams throughout all the phases of the software development life cycle.
