Job Title: Service Engineer Manager
Department: Service & After-Sales
Reports To: Management / Operations Head
Location: Gurgaon
Job Summary:
The Service Engineer Manager will be responsible for leading and managing the service function of the organization, ensuring efficient installation, maintenance, and after-sales support. The role focuses on customer satisfaction, service excellence, and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
· Lead and manage the service team, including service engineers and technicians.
· Oversee installation, commissioning, preventive maintenance, and breakdown services.
· Ensure timely service support and high customer satisfaction.
· Develop and implement service SOPs, processes, and performance metrics.
· Handle escalated customer complaints and critical service issues.
· Coordinate with sales, production, and logistics teams.
· Monitor service KPIs, prepare MIS, and report to management.
· Manage AMC/CMC contracts and spare parts planning.
· Train and develop service team members.
· Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Biomedical / Mechanical / Electrical).
- MBA or relevant management qualification is an added advantage.
Experience:
- 8–12 years of relevant service experience, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership role.
Skills Required:
- Strong leadership and customer-handling skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of field service operations and reporting tools.
