- Prepare various types of dosas (plain, masala, ghee, rava, onion, set dosa, etc.) with speed and precision
- Handle dosa batter preparation, fermentation, and consistency
- Maintain hygiene and cleanliness of the dosa station and equipment
- Prepare accompaniments such as coconut chutney, tomato chutney, sambar, and podi
- Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation standards are met
- Manage inventory and report shortages of ingredients or raw materials
- Assist with overall South Indian breakfast items like idli, vada, upma (optional, based on skillset)
- Adhere to food safety and hygiene protocols at all times
✅ Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Dosa Cook or South Indian tawa chef (minimum 1–2 years preferred)
- Strong knowledge of dosa varieties and South Indian breakfast cuisine
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently during peak hours
- Familiarity with kitchen safety and hygiene standards
- Team player with good communication skills
- Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, or evening shifts as needed
Preferred (but not mandatory):
- Experience in commercial kitchens or hotel chains
- Knowledge of additional Indian cuisines or regional variations
