We are hiring, on behalf of one of our clients, a Robotic Engineer Team Lead with experience of 3 to 4 years.
Technical Skills
- Robotics Systems Design & Integration - Proficient in designing, integrating, and deploying robotics systems for industrial automation, including collaborative robots (cobots), autonomous mobile robots (AMRs), and custom robotic arms.
- Control Systems & Motion Planning - Expertise in kinematics, dynamics, and control theory for real-time robot path planning and motion control.
- Embedded Systems & Firmware Development - Hands-on experience with microcontrollers (STM32, PIC, etc.), embedded C/C++, RTOS, and communication protocols (UART, SPI, I2C, CAN).
- ROS/ROS2 Development - Proficient in Robot Operating System (ROS) frameworks, including sensor integration, navigation stacks and custom nodes.
- Machine Vision & AI Integration - Experience with OpenCV, TensorFlow, or PyTorch for defect detection, object recognition, and quality control in manufacturing environments.
- Industrial Protocols & Automation Standards - Familiar with Modbus, OPC-UA, EtherCAT, and PLC integration for smart factory setups.
- 3D CAD & Mechanical Design - Skilled in SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or similar for robotic fixture and tooling design.
Manufacturing & EMS-Specific Skills
- DFM / DFA / DFT Expertise - Ensures robot designs are optimized for manufacturing, assembly, and testing with EMS partners.
- NPI & Product Lifecycle Management - Leading New Product Introduction (NPI) with EMS partners, from EVT to MP stages.
- Quality & Compliance - Familiar with IPC standards, ISO 9001, Six Sigma, and FMEA for ensuring reliability and compliance of robotics hardware.
- Supply Chain Collaboration - Coordinates with EMS partners for sourcing, vendor validation, and BOM management.
- Manufacturing Test Development - Development and deployment of end-of-line testers, functional test jigs, and automated test scripts.
Leadership & Communication Skills
- Team Leadership & Mentoring - Leading cross-functional engineering teams (mechanical, electrical, software) with agile practices and performance development.
- Project & Program Management - Experienced in managing robotics product roadmaps, Gantt charts, and stakeholder communications.
- Partner & Vendor Management - Strong communication with EMS partners to ensure on-time delivery, cost targets, and quality metrics.
- Cross-Cultural Collaboration - Adept at working with global EMS partners (e.g., in China, Taiwan, or Eastern Europe) and adapting communication accordingly.
Pay: ₹450,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
